Nutrition & Diet

No meal plans you will abandon in a fortnight. Guidance built around what you already cook, already like, and can actually keep up.

How the guidance works

This starts with what you eat now, not with a printed plan. The aim is small changes that survive a busy week.

  1. 1.What you eat nowA few honest days of what actually goes in, including the parts you would rather leave out.
  2. 2.What you wantMore energy, better digestion, steadier weight, or eating without thinking about it constantly.
  3. 3.The first changesTwo or three things, not twenty. Usually about timing and protein before anything else.
  4. 4.Your food, adjustedRoti, dal, rice and sabzi stay. Indian home cooking is a good foundation, not a problem to solve.
  5. 5.Checking inWhat held and what did not. Anything you abandoned gets replaced rather than repeated.
  6. 6.Understanding itPoonam explains the reasoning, so eventually you can make the call yourself.

What this is not

Worth saying plainly, because most people arrive expecting the opposite.

No calorie countingNo banned foodsNo supplements to buyNo weighing every meal

Alongside the practice, or on its own

Most people take nutrition guidance alongside their yoga, because the two move together. It can also be taken by itself if that is the part you actually need help with.

Anyone tired of starting over

Especially useful if you have tried several diets and none of them lasted past a month.

  • Anyone tired of starting over
  • Vegetarians struggling with protein
  • Shift workers and odd schedules

A few days of honesty

  • 3\u20134 days of what you ate
  • Any recent blood reports
  • A list of what you actually cook

Good to know

  • No calorie counting
  • No supplements to buy
  • Your usual food, adjusted
  • Check-ins every few weeks
